OVERVIEW:
Use alloy flexible ducting to aid the supply of cooler air to your vehicle's induction or breaking system for improved performance. Alloy ducts are a great choice for use as a stand-alone cold air feed as they hold the shape you bend them into.
This BMC branded flexi-duct has been developed specifically for use with BMC CDA or DIA air boxes. The alloy duct is laminated with a layer of cardboard at the production stage. The result is a very robust flexible duct for use as a cold air feed (stand alone or attach directly to your CDA or DIA intake). Thanks to its strength this product can also be used as part of your engine intake manifold (used between the outlet side of your filter and engine intake or throttle).
HOW IT WORKS:
Used to feed your sport filter with cold air from the front of your vehicle (away from the heat of your engine). Cold air is denser, this means more oxygen can be supplied to your engine, hence more fuel can be burnt. Results can include power gains and improved fuel economy.
